As a more consistent growing pattern emerges from the depths of winter, we’ll be able to switch back to our twice-a-week farm stands! We’ll have our usual Saturday stands from 9 am-noon but will also be adding Wednesday stands from 4 pm-7 pm. All of our Farm Stands are open to the public!
CSA Shares
In addition to our usual a la carte-style farm stands, we’ll soon be kicking off our CSA seasons. Starting Wednesday, May 12th, CSA members can start picking up their shares from either the Wednesday or Saturday stands that fit into their schedules. When you come to the farm stand as a CSA member all you need to do is hand your bag to a Woodside Farms employee or volunteer and let them know if you’re a full or half share. They’ll then walk you through the produce tables as you pick out your week’s groceries and they’ll keep track of your tab for you. Of course, anyone and everyone is welcome to our farm stands regardless of CSA status, but if you think you may be interested, check out our CSA page for more information
Our CSA program is set up so a half share is equivalent to about $25 worth of produce and a full share is about $35. You can check out the produce we plan on having each season on our website. In addition to what we have provided at each farm stand, our CSA members are invited to supplement their take-home bags with whatever they’d like from our Pick Your Own Garden. There, you can do exactly what it sounds like and pick your own produce!
One-Stop-Shop
In addition to our Woodside Farms produce, we will also have local eggs from Pinwheel Farms, meat from All Good Acres, bread from La Bella Vita Bakery, flowers from our pollinator beds, and are a pickup spot for raw milk from Creambrook Farm. We’ve got a lot going on here and are a one-stop-shop for all your grocery needs!
Save The Date!
Keep your eyes open for our Earth Day event here at the barn on Saturday, April 24th as well as future classes and demonstrations (just like the old days!)
